Welcome to radioarchive.cc - the place to come if you are a fan of spoken-word radio. This site deals primarily with content from the British Broadcasting Corporation, but if you have quality spoken-word material from other radio networks then you can post it here.
We aim to develop a community here, and all are welcome.
To the dedicated seeders out there - (you know who you are!) - Please add your torrents to the collection.
To the peers - help yourself to the material, but please consider contributing to the effort - advice is always available for the asking!
Lastly - and most importantly - READ, UNDERSTAND AND ABIDE BY THE UPLOAD RULES YOU WILL FIND HERE AT ALL TIMES.
RADIOARCHIVE.CC ONLY ACCEPTS AUDIO MATERIAL WHICH HAS BEEN DERIVED FROM FREE-TO-AIR BROADCASTS VIA ANALOGUE RADIO / DIGITAL RADIO / DIGITAL TV / INTERNET STREAMING. DO NOT POST MATERIAL DERIVED FROM RETAIL PRODUCTS - IT WILL GET YOU AN IMMEDIATE AND PERMANENT BAN FROM THIS AND OTHER SITES.
NOTICE!! - The Forum is now up and running at http://radioarchive.cc/forum - YOU WILL HAVE TO REGISTER SEPARATELY FOR IT! - See you there soon...
As a result of necessary server reconfigurations there is the possibility of variable server performance for a couple of days. There will be a major relocation of the server facilities and a change in the server numerical IP address which will kick in on 30th August. All efforts have been made to make the transition as seamless as possible - but THERE MAY BE SOME SERVER DOWNTIME ON 30TH AUGUST FOR A FEW HOURS.
We are having a slight software issue at the moment
Lost passwords reset emails are not being sent to those requesting them.
RA.cc only allows 1 member per ISP address & registration ISP's are logged
This means if you forget your Password no email will be sent, and you can't rejoin with the same ISP.
We urge all members to make a backup note of your Password until this issue is resolved.
Opera & Firefox browser, and Password managers like Roboform will remember passwords.
But these to are not 100% reliable, If you have to reinstall Windows they might fail.
A piece of paper is always worth using as an extra safety precaution.
